This section is responsible for the systematic processing of all newly acquired library materials, ensuring their timely availability to users. It is located at 1st floor.

The Technical processing involves classification, cataloguing, labelling and physical preparation of documents. The library follows the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme (23rd Edition) for classifying its collections, ensuring uniformity and easy retrieval of information. Cataloguing and related technical operations are carried out using Libsys 10 Integrated Library Management Software.
